Summer Reading

Like the rest of the world I love summer! But while most people dream of days spent in the sun on white sandy beaches I dream of afternoons curled up with a good book.

Growing up I always anxiously awaited summer because it meant I would have time to read whatever I wanted (after finishing my assigned summer reading of course). Now is no different, I still love, love, love summer reading. I don't know what it is about hot summer days and a good book that makes them go together so perfectly, but I'm certainly glad I discovered it early in life.

I'm currently reading How to Eat a Cupcake by Meg Donahue
I'm not very far into it yet, but it seems very promissing. Two former best friends who have a falling out and now are coming back together to open a cupcake shop. What a perfect plot for a fun summer read. As a bonus it's currently on $1.99 on the nook!

I just made an account on goodreads. Add me, I'd love to see what's on your summer reading list!
