My godmother and cousin came to visit from the Florida Keys. This was such a treat because I hadn't seen them in a year. We spent Friday shopping and Saturday morning at the casino before they left. I love being able to share my hometown with those I love.
While shopping I got these great new shoes! Fabulous white wedges like I've been looking for for forever. I have the hardest time finding white shoes I like because I think most of them look cheap.
I also got this great steal at Ross for only $15! Seriously, who could pass up a great party dress for such a bargain? Now I just need an invite for somewhere to wear it!
I enjoyed a coconut cream pie Sonic Milkshake, half priced after 8pm!! I ordered a small, but they upsized it to a medium, which for a milkshake feels more like a large.
Sunday night was spent watching Miss USA. Miss South Carolina was my favorite from the very first walk through, so I was pumped she made it to the top 5. I also really liked Miss Texas, who also made the top 5. I was however a little disappointed in most of the evening gowns (usually my favorite); I only really liked Miss Alabama's.
And of course I can't talk about this weekend without giving a little shout out to my daddy for Father's Day! This is one of my favorite photos of us, from my Beauty Revue in 10th grade.
