Five on Friday/ Back that Azzz up

It's time for my five on Friday. Link up and play along!

1. I finally renewed my drivers' license and moved up to a horizontal one! In Mississippi you have a vertical license until you're over 21, but because mine didn't expire until this year I kept my vertical one longer. This always confused waiters/bartenders/bouncers when checking my ID; hopefully now I won't get as many double takes and people thinking I have a fake. Bonus I was in and out of the DMV in about 45 minutes and my picture is semi decent.

2.  I was right about the first name for the Royal baby! Although I didn't get any of the other names right, I was the only one in my family to correctly guess George for the first name. I have to admit I was pretty surprised by the other two names they decided upon (and why they didn't pick 4 names), but I really like the ones they decided to go with.

3. Wednesday afternoon I had a three hour lunch with one of my high school friends. Yes, you read that right, three hours. It was so nice to just sit and catch up on life; we hadn't hung out in probably a year. She's done a much better job than me of keeping up with everyone from high school, so she had the details on most of our senior class's lives. She moved back home after graduation too, but unlike me she has a job.

4. Speaking of not having a job, I may have hit a low point in my job search. I put a public plea for help on Facebook asking everyone to forward my online portfolio to anyone they may know who could be a helpful contact. I have had a few people share my status and some tell me they would keep an eye open for any opportunities, so hopefully my desperation turns out something.

5.  This song came on while I was at the gym the other day and I was so excited when I could do the whole rap part still. This was my jam freshman year at Ole Miss. It was perfect for pumping me up to finish the end of my workout and it's perfect to share for the #backthatazzzup link up
