Weekend Update

I had one of the most boring weekends known to man. It consisted of

1. Studying for the GRE
Friday night I took a GRE pretest and realized just how bad I am at math. Well, let me restate that, it's not so much that I'm bad at math as it is that I don't remember any of it. The last math class I took was my first semester at Ole Miss (College Algebra, I made 100) and I clearly haven't thought about math since. So now I've set out to reteach myself all the math I've forgotten, and if that doesn't work my 15 year old sister says she can teach it all to me.

2. Eating
Saturday night to drown my sorrows that I wasn't in Oxford for the last of recruitment and we don't get ESPNU so I couldn't watch the football game I made margaritas.

Sunday for lunch I decided that I'd try out something new and make a grilled veggie panini. I really wanted to put mushrooms on it, but we didn't have any so I just used eggplant and peppers and then added some provolone cheese. It wasn't the prettiest sandwich but it was certainly tasty.

3. Watching tv
Who watched SNL? I don't usually watch, but I was super excited about Miley hosting, and then I was let down. I thought the only funny parts were the Destruction of America opening sketch with "Old Miley" and the We Can't Stop spoof (As a Republican I decided that it's okay that I thought it was funny and not offensive).

4. Social Media
Yesterday was Ole Miss bid day, so I spent all day refreshing my Twitter/ Instagram /Facebook timeline looking at everyone's pictures. I was so so so proud of my sisters for getting 142 new members! All their hard work seriously paid off because that is the largest pledge class ever.

I think of every blog post as a conversation. I hope you'll join in and leave a comment so I'm not just talking to myself.
