Holiday Responsibly

Can you believe it's Christmas Eve? I sure can't. I feel like this holiday season just flew by so quickly. I'm not ready to let it go! I feel like I haven't watched my favorite movies or listened to my favorite carols enough. And I haven't even eaten anything with peppermint!

I'm kinda bummed that I have to work Christmas afternoon/night, so I'm very thankful to have today off to spend with my family. I plan to spend today at home watching Christmas movies with my family and doing some baking. And than of course we'll have our traditional Christmas Eve Chinese dinner. We've done it for as long as I can remember, including the year we went to the Florida Keys for Christmas. None of us can remember when or why we actually started, but now we all look forward to it. Last year our favorite restaurant was closed for the holiday and we had to go to a different one, but this year they're staying open so we're all excited. And then tomorrow we'll all go to Mass together and come home to eat lunch before I have to go to work. Oh and I guess we'll open presents somewhere in there, but at this point we all know exactly what we're getting because we were there when it was bought.

It's always Happy Hour at our house. HOLIDAY RESPONSIBLY
We never send a normal Christmas card, my mom always insists on something "unique"

Please tell me my family isn't the only ones with weird Christmas/Christmas Eve traditions
