Grownup Art

We all reach a point in our lives when giant posters and hand painted canvases from our sorority bigs are no longer appropriate wall accessories. I haven't fully reached this point of my life yet, but hopefully I'll get there in the next 6 -12 months. But maybe you're more grownup than I am and you've reached that point of life. Or maybe you're just trying to act like you've reached that point of your life. Today's post is for you. I've rounded up 3 of my favorite artists to help make your walls better reflect you; grownup, original, and fabulous!

Gray Malin is an artist who's work you may already know. His Prada Marfa collection is widely loved by fashion and pop culture enthusiasts. His pieces are a bit on the pricer side, but he frequently offers discount codes through his Instagram. When I eventually move out and have my own place one of these will be among my first purchases.

Evelyn Henson is one of my favorite new finds. All her pieces are so bright, colorful, and just plain fun. Any of her pieces would instantly make a space seem more welcoming. She does both canvas art and prints which makes her artwork accessible to a variety of budgets. I'll be adding one of her prints to my wall as soon as I can pick a favorite.

Anum Tariq is an artist I discovered through her Instagram account which is one of my favorite to follow. She does fabulous sketches of glamour girls in designer inspired looks. She'll even do custom sketches of your signature look if you want something totally original and don't mind spending the extra cash. Her prints would be so perfect in a little girl's room, and gifting one would probably ensure you win Aunt of the Year for the rest of time.

Who are some of your favorite artists?

I think of every blog post as a conversation. I hope you'll join in and leave a comment so I'm not just talking to myself.
