Friday Five

1. Despite my best efforts, my sunburn is officially peeling. It's peeling to a tan and not super pale again so at least I'm lucky there, but it's still itchy and annoying. I imagine this is how a snake feels when it sheds it's skin

2. Have you heard of the instagram account DILFS of Disneyland. Hot men and adorable children. Seriously what more could you want in an account. You can thank me later

3. If you're a frequent reader of my Friday Five posts it's no secret that I'm a fan of TFM, TSM, and PGP. This article from Post Grad Problems is so accurate I feel like I could have written it myself, except I never realized how true it was until someone else put the words in front of me.

4. I'm looking for a Bible study I can do at home alone. I really enjoyed the devotional I did back during Lent, but the way it was set up I absolutely had to do the reading that day or I missed it. I'd like to do it before I go to sleep each night, but with my wacky job schedule that means some nights I'm doing it at 11pm and others at 3am. I need something that will always be there so I'm thinking a book would probably be my best bet. I went to religious school almost my entire life so I never needed an outside Bible study, but lately I've just been hungry more God in my life. I go to church each week, but it's late Sunday night after I've worked all week and am exhausted so I feel like I'm not getting very much out of it. I think a little Bible study is exactly what I need to help get me through.

5. Remember how I said I'm a little obsessed with Swagbucks? Well that obsession has only grown since I've discovered I can just sit and get paid to listen to Adele videos. This is the song my chapter always sings during the last round of rush as the girls are making their final decisions of which house to list first. Obviously with this being rush week, and the first one I'm not there for, I've been a little emotional listening to it.

  1. I just signed up for Swagbucks and I am obsessed too! It's so nice to see the SB number go up and dream of the gift cards I will get! :)

  2. Jesus Calling by Sara Young is pretty popular. is also a popular one. Sadly, I haven't read either of these so I can't tell you from person experience!

I think of every blog post as a conversation. I hope you'll join in and leave a comment so I'm not just talking to myself.
