50 in 500 days

In 500 days I will turn 25. That seems like a far time away, but in actuality I know it will be here in no time. I've always felt like 25 was one of the most important birthdays even though it lacks any real tangible change. Growing up I always thought of 25 as the year that you finally have everything figured out. You're a real adult and can no longer get by on blaming your young age. The closer I get to that number the more I realize how very untrue my feelings growing up turn out to be. I think for every thing I'll have figured out I'll have two more unfigured out. But regardless 25 is still a big birthday.

I'm sure you've seen numerous 100 in 1001 days lists. The first one I saw was Mackenzie's and it's what inspired me to make mine, or rather my version of one. I really liked the idea of my list ending on an important date, but by the time I thought of it there were less than 1001 days till my next big milestone. Here are 50 things for me to accomplish in the next 500 days. 50 things that I think will help me feel a little more accomplished on my 25th birthday.
