Things I'd rather be doing today

Today I have to work. Yeah, yeah, yeah I know it's Monday morning and working today is not a new thing for most of you, but it is for me. I'm usually off on Monday which means I spend the day sleeping late, enjoying the red beans and rice lunch at the yacht club with my mom, and catching up on the tv I missed last week. But that isn't the case this week. I switched my schedule up so I can go to a BBQ fundraiser on Saturday, something I'll appreciate when I'm eating my weight in pulled pork but am seriously hating right now. When you factor in that I did more running around at work this past weekend than I have probably since New Years it'd be an understatement to say that I'd really rather not have to clock in this morning. But let's be real, I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd rather not be at work today or class today or doing whatever other obligation is on your planner for the day. What would I rather be doing? Well I'm glad you asked

But seriously, how adorable is this print from Evelyn Henson's new line

Today I'd rather be
  • watching every Disney princess movie
  • transitioning my closet for Spring
  • online shoping
  • eating too much Easter candy
  • reading all the March issues of my magazines I still haven't gotten around to
  • scrolling my twitter, instagram, bloglovin feed
  • buying everything pretty in the Target $1 section
  • tweezing my eyebrows
  • watching the rest of House of Cards and Kimmy Schmidt

But until I can convince my dad that he should support my dream of being a professional stay at home daughter I guess I'll be headed to the office for my 40 hours each week.
