March Goals

Oh hi there! Remember me? Okay so it's been a hot minute since I last blogged and I really have no excuse so I'm not even going to pretend to have one. But I thought what better to end February than with a post! My second one this month in fact.

In all honesty I felt a little unmotivated all month. I don't know if it's because I wake up at 5am every day for work or if the cold is finally getting to me making me want to just hibernate, but I just haven't wanted to do anything. In order to make sure March doesn't follow this same pattern I've decided to make and share some goals to help myself stay accountable.

1. Blog - I've only written 5 posts all year. Y'all that's just embarrassing. I'd like to get between 5 and 10 posts up this month. For someone who at one point posted 5 times a week that seems very reasonable. I've already got lots of topic ideas, I just have to actually write them out.

2. Be in bed by 9pm every night - I am naturally a night person so this one is going to be the hardest for me, but the most beneficial. When you wake up at 5am that means you have to be asleep by 9pm to get 8 hours of sleep and that just simply isn't happening. I think this will really help with my wanting to take naps every afternoon once I get home allowing me time to get some things done.

3. Read - Confession time, I haven't picked up a book since before Christmas. I love to read but I just haven't been making the time lately. Ashliegh inspired this goal; she's reading a book a month this year and I think that's such a goal. I don't know if I'll get through an entire book but an honest effort is all I'm holding myself to. That said, if anyone has a book recommendation send it my way!

4. Save Money - My spending lately has been out of control. Before I moved out here I didn't have a budget because it was literally impossible to spend more than I made when I had zero expenses. Now I have tons of expenses and a small cash flow. This month I'm really challenging myself to eat what I already have at home. My freezer and pantry are stocked to all I should really be buying is fresh produce.

  1. This month one of my goals is to also blog consistently! I also am super guilty of eating out when I have a full fridge at home (whoops!) Can't wait to see some of your new post :)

  2. I totally understand. This year has started off being a struggle for me to post. I have a post I wanted to do about my trip to Vegas for New Years and I still haven't finished. I have pics just can't decide what way I want to go with the post

  3. I definitely want to get to bed a little earlier... We have a tendency to not fall asleep before midnight, and that's not going to last long!

  4. CAN WE PLEASE HAVE A BLOGGING DATE AND JUST DO BLOG WORK? I need motivation, desperately, haha!
