April top 5

Hey what's up Hello! I can't believe the end of April is already here and I'm just now putting up a blog post this month. I thought the best way to catch you up with my life would be to do a top 5 things I've been up to this month.

1. Lost my job - Well technically I didn't lose it, it just ended. I was hired seasonally and when the ski season ended earlier this month so did my job. But I'm so happy they've hired me back as a 10 month year round employee starting next week. Funemployment was fun for a little bit but my bank account is glad I'm heading back to work.

2. Moving - I loved my time here in Vail so much I've decided to stay another year! The place I was renting was actually sold so my roommate and I had to find a new place. After lots of Craigslist searching we found a little townhouse in the cutest little neighborhood. The best way I can describe it is homey; I can't wait to be fully moved in and make it ours. And according to our landlord it's lucky in love. Every person who's moved out has been because one of the roommates is getting married. How funny is that!

3. Love life - Speaking of love life I actually have a boyfriend now. I don't plan on talking about him much here because I want to keep that part private, but he's an important thing that's happened this month. It's funny because I've always been such an independent person so to now be in a real relationship is a little strange. I think my parents thought I was kidding when I first mentioned him.

4. Dallas - If you follow me on Instagram you noticed during my stint of unemployment I went down to Dallas for a week with my boyfriend. It was so nice to get out of town and be in a real city. My favorite part was visiting the Bush Library; hands down a must see in the city. We also went to a Rangers game, did some shopping, and ate lots of great food. I've always had good vibes about Dallas despite never going, but now I can say in good faith that I love the Big D!

5. Snow - Okay I know I live at a ski resort, but I honestly thought it'd stop snowing by now. It's snowed twice this week. I still love the snow, but I've heard so many great things about summer I'm just ready for it to be here!

What have you been up to this month?
