Starting Monday I will be starting my dream job. Not my ultimate dream job, but my dream goal job when I made the decision to move to Vail. When I decided to pick up my life and move across the country it wasn't because I had this deep desire to work at a hotel front desk. Taking that front desk job was a step back that I needed to take to fill in the missing pieces in my experience. It gave me the luxury hospitality experience I knew I'd need in the future. I made that decision to move in hopes of ultimately getting an events job in a luxury hotel. And y'all I did it!
Come Monday morning I'll begin working as an events coordinator at our sister hotel here in Vail. I am so excited for this transition and the fact that the plan I put together way back in the fall of 2015 is finally coming together. Hard work pays off but sometimes you have to take a step back to make all the pieces fall together. So if anyone is looking to get married or hold a corporate event in Vail let me know, I'd be thrilled to work with you to make your event happen.
